Nina da Hora was the second recipient of our Sabiá (Thrush) Award, presented by the Brazilian Society (CUBS).

Meeting the wonderful Nina da Hora, who visited us at the Faculty of Education at the University of Cambridge for the X Oxbridge Conference on Brazilian Studies, following the opening of the conference with Brazilian Indigenous leader Vanda Witoto and authors presenting papers that question modernity and coloniality from diverse perspectives and areas of knowledge.

What a lovely day spent among lovely people—Maíra Tavares Mendes, Alexandre da Trindade (online), Lila Gaudêncio, Emiliano Cabrera Rocha (online), and our special guest Nina da Hora.
